SOGDC TEAM BUILDING 2023
(SOGDC) recently hosted its annual staff retreat & teambuilding program on 15th December – 17th December 2023 at Damai Eco Ranch, Kg Lohan, in Ranau. This year’s retreat brought together SOGDC dedicated staff for three days of collaboration, celebration, and planning for the future. The retreat kicked off with the annual staff dinner, group performance and gift exchange on the first night themed “Black & Gold”. Datuk Harun Hj Ismail, the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of SOGDC delivered his opening speech to kick off the programme. In his statement, Datuk Harun encouraged all employees to work with integrity and punctuality to foster a pro-business culture. He further added that SOGDC’s workforce will also have the potential to grow as they are young and full of energy to succeed.
The 2nd day of the retreat started with a talk from SPRM officer Puan Junaisah on Integrity topic. This topic was chosen by our MD/CEO to equip staff with high integrity attitude. Only with high integrity attitude the company can grow further and respected by stakeholders. After the talk, the program for the rest of the day was hiking, games and lucky draws. The 3rd day as focused on teambuilding games conducted by the trainers from Damai Eco Ranch. It was a fun and great learning session for everyone.
The SOGDC Staff retreat & teambuilding has become a highly anticipated event in the company’s annual calendar as it provides a unique opportunity for staff to unwind and reconnect outside the confine of the office. The retreat succeeds in its objective to promote unity and close working relationship with each other. This event will continue to be part and parcel event for staff engagement program in years to come.
