The Chairman of Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (SOGDC), YB Datuk Ir. Shahelmey bin Yahya, conducted a working visit to the Esteel Enterprise Sabah Sdn. Bhd. project site at the Sipitang Oil & Gas Industrial Park (SOGIP) on 29 July 2026. He was accompanied by the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of SOGDC, Mr. Mohd Azmir bin Datuk Ramli, together with the SOGDC management team.
The visit aimed to review the overall progress of the project and receive the latest updates on its development. It also provided an opportunity for discussions with the Esteel management to better understand the project’s current requirements and identify areas where SOGDC can facilitate and provide the necessary support to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
SOGDC remains committed to serving as a strategic facilitator for investors in SOGIP by fostering close collaboration with industry stakeholders and supporting the successful delivery of high-impact investments that contribute to Sabah’s economic growth and industrial development.
