February 18, 2025 – The Sipitang Oil & Gas Industrial Park (SOGIP) continues to play a key role as a major catalyst for the growth of the energy sector, which is vital for the economy of Sabah, with the launch of the Petroleum Oil Storage and Refinery Plant at SOGIP.
One of the significant projects making a big impact on the state’s economy by Petroventure Energy Sdn. Bhd., set to begin in April. This refinery will have a capacity of up to 150,000 barrels per day and storage facilities of 3 million cubic meters, significantly boosting the oil and gas sector in Sabah.
