SOGDC was pleased to welcome the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) and its distinguished delegation for a courtesy visit on 9 September 2026.
The delegation was led by Amb. Brian D. McFeeters (ret.), President and CEO and Head of Delegation (HOD), US-ASEAN Business Council, together with Emma Tabatabai, Chief Country Representative for Malaysia, and representatives from USABC member companies, including Bitdeer, Coca-Cola, Moody’s, Philip Morris and Thermo Fisher.
The courtesy visit, chaired by SOGDC Chairman YB Datuk Ir. Shahelmey bin Yahya, provided a valuable platform for both parties to exchange views, share insights and explore areas of mutual interest, particularly in relation to investment, business opportunities and potential collaboration in Sabah.
Also in attendance were Tuan Mohd Azmir bin Ramli, Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of SOGDC, together with SOGDC’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Business Development Manager.
SOGDC greatly appreciates the visit by the US-ASEAN Business Council and its delegation and looks forward to continued engagement and exploring opportunities for meaningful collaboration in the future.
